Have you drilled the wheel bolt holes to fit the passat wheel bolts and have you had any problems ?

For a quick fix for the moment why dont you wire in a 12v feed for it with a switch. Then you'll have the motor running untill the fault is found.

Received my kit today (same as op's) Fitted and does a lovely job. Great bit of kit and a bargain !

The problem with the bigger size is tyres get more expensive, you loose some ride comfort and they generally cost more to buy !!

Alloys, lowered, re map, debadged grill. Maybe some other stuff. Just need to save now

Sometimes aftermarket stereos can affect the 'K-Line' or some thing. As there is a wire on the stereo loom connected to this.

Does it really matter?

They're 16 inch rims. I wouldnt mind bigger wheels but the tyres are so expensive.

Do you think these wheels would suit my car.

Sorry should of mentioned that, Im using Google Chrome, the forum worked fine before then within the last 2 weeks it will not work.

The UKPassats homepage will open, but when I click on the forum link it doenst work, it usually just downloads some file called index :s

Could someone please point me in the right direction to what software and cables I need. Ive got a copy of VAG-COM already and a ebay obdII usb cable, but the program says my car isn't compliant :S
