Re: Coolant leak - can anyone tell me which pipe I need?
Yeah loads of oil, hopefully left over from recently removed EGR. But definitely leaking coolant from that slightly kinked pipe in the pic.

Coolant leak - can anyone tell me which pipe I need?
Seems a pipe got nicked/kinked when I had the clutch done.
Anyone know what I need to be asking Mr main dealer for?

Re: Replace cutch without DMF repacement?
Pretty much, kinda fishing for success stories (or otherwise) really.

Re: Replace cutch without DMF repacement?
Complete false economy I get what you're saying but absolutely on me bum financially at the mo, plus me and a mate are going to do it so if the worst come to worst we can always drop the box and do it again. Plus the parts for both would be more than I paid for the car which kinda breaks my banger ...

Replace cutch without DMF repacement?
Considering replacing clutch with a LUK kit without the flywheel. Clutch operation is absolutley fine in every other way apart from slipping under heavy load. No judder pulling away, no nasty clutch related noises etc. Is there any real point in replacing a flywheel when it appears to be working as ...

Re: Clutch. Oh b*ll*cks
Thanks for the replies. Now here's a weird thing...despite having experienced definite clutch slip a few days ago, the next day when attempting to reproduce it to show my brother the reason for my glum face, I was unable to! The only thing I can think may have played a part is earlier in the journey...

Clutch. Oh b*ll*cks
Oh well, new car buzz lasted even less long than my usual pretty poor average. The good bit, picked up what seems like a properly genuine 2003 PD130 estate, Doctor owned it from new and a full VW service history up to 100k, then a decent independent one up to it's current 175k (although the long lif...

Greetings fellow similar car owners!
Hello!
I'm the proud new owner of a 2 owner 2003 PD130 estate.
Thought I should pop in and say hello before I burden you all with my woes.
Gotta laugh or you'd cry eh?
See ya in the B5 forum if ya fancy finding out the reason I'm feeling blessed and cursed at the mo.
