Forgot to post, but on a 2001 51 reg she passed her mot in an 2024 - and hit 300k a few weeks ago!

My wife instantly made me get a newer Passat.
My Dad's now got my old beige b5.5 300k tdi sport, but I think its days are numbered, as he doesn't drive much now..

The car is fitted with a towbar, so that makes sense.
Haven't read all the blurb for my B6 Highline yet, but I had assumed it came with its own internal parking sensors.

Just noticed this on dash - by arrow in top pic.

Haven't noticed it in any other B6's - Anyone know what it could be?

I hope you can find a way to get it done. My B5.5 tdi is on 299k And it had it's third cambelt a year or two ago. I think all in it cost around £400 inc water pump etc etc. I just felt the old girl deserved a new belt, and as I do travel a bit around the UK we wanted to feel confident about the belt...

In fact, given half a chance I would buy this B5.5 petrol 1.8T estate as well.
I've had a 150bhp B5 saloon in the past and I really miss it!!

The old girl just wants to keep on going - hoping to make it to 300K ...

The material around my door handles on my 2002 b5.5 sport is sagging - can you replace the handle and material part of the door with leather, or do you have to replace the whole door?
