Happydays will see if makes a difference had a oily egr this week and it's coming through the breather system.

has the oil seperator helped? ine is getting massively gunked up. also how did you fit it? you,ve got the inlet, outlet and theres a pipe fitting on the bottom. seems like a good idea though. sweet looking motor

hi all, i've been asked to look at a guys vw caddy 05 plate believe its a diesel. bad thing is i haven't looked at it just word of mouth. the problem he's having is when he's trying to start it, he's having to full throttle it to get it to fire. now with out looking at it i thought glow plug problem...

Hi all so im getting a warning light on the dash triangle with ! in the middle and a circle arrow round it. i code read it found out p0272 meant injector 4 not contributing/ballance, erazed and got rid of warning light. it came back around 30 miles down the road so code read got shot of the warning ...

are the injectors from an avb engine I have a set of four in the garage.

I'm looking at a steering wheel on the bay. And the guy says it's,from an Audi a4 b6 2001 s line was wondering if anyone knows if it will fit my passat 2003 highline. And if it's a straight swop or is there some cutting and shutting to be done

i have a b5.5 is there any splitters i can fit on the front of car. suppose to make the bumper look abit deeper. also might has the crome inserts on the bumper and door trim. can this be removed and sprayed to colour coded

im just after a few details about the 1.8t passat its a 51 plate, estate. im wanting it for a motorway chugger but does anyone know what the fuel will be like on a run? bit of a random request but this day and age fuel is key.

i've cleaned the egr valve. Send to be working the valve on the side resets when engine is switched off.

injector change as yet hasnt changed it need to give a run in morn. stuck in workshop at the moment. changed coolant sensor for a green one. new turbo as my last one was goosed. checked all pipes in turbo system and renewed intercooler seals all thats left is maf and map sensor.

thats what i thought, sweet cheers. if a sensor goes down, the ecu will throw a fault up wont it? im becoming stuck with this car now.

hi all stil having dramas with my passat just changed the injectors as the bosch garage said one was leaking which was causing the smoke and over fueling smell. however one of the blokes said the mapping from ecu could have dropped out is this possible? car runs fine just smokes like a smokey thing

Seems to be a little but of oil coming out the filler cap. So that's the only breather for the engine. Sweet mine try and clean it out.

does anyone know the location of the prv in the crankcase breather system on a 1.9tdi 100pd engine. tried looking through the haynes manual, says needs cleaning but doesnt say where it is. just want to check it make sure its working and not blocked.
