Turbo conversion
Just wondering what people’s thoughts are about doing a turbo conversation on my wife’s R36 should I leave as is or go for it . It’s her daily driver and covers a lot of miles at present the car is clean reliable and returns good MPG’s wouldn’t want it to look any different so no holes in the front ...

Re: Brands for front control arms
Can’t go wrong with febi and would recommend as first choice but Delphi is a good alternative . Try RT group or carpartsinmotion cross reference part numbers and you will save a fortune without compromise in quality good luck mark

Re: VW special tools
Picked up the new piston tool T10333 on Thursday and finally got to use it today I’ve taken loads of pic’s and will upload some soon . Also just to mention that I only just found out that VW’s parts catalog is not linked to TPS’s so if parts are listed as dropped they may be sat in a TPS some where ...

Just an update if you require timing chain fitting tools / flywheel lock DSG or haldex fluid pumps just drop me a message and your welcome to borrow anything I have as I know that building up the tools to maintain these things is a pain and expensive mission regards Mark

Re: VW special tools
Thanks for the comments I do appreciate it unfortunately I’ve tried demon tweaks and ARP don’t list one with the 5.3 degree angle it’s looking like I may have to get a wiseco one re-machined as an 89mm diameter at 5.3 degrees leaves all the rings exposed on one side and I’m in too deep to risk tryin...
