some courriers are idiots , ive had a few things broken , one being a glass door oven , it sounded like th film with jim carrey where he kicks the box all over the show and there is just glass rattling everywhere , lmao

do you mean the track rod ends? personally i would do them yourself if you can do a cv you should have no trouble about 20 mins each side :-bd you can get a pair of ends for around £40 of ebay and £25 at a local tire place to have it re-tracked just remember when you crack the locking nut to coun...

that price is not too bad, and good to see your back up and running again x-fingers that's an end to your problems for a while as you've had your fair share of them yeah hopefully ...lol , it was halfords who done it for me , runs sweet now ... my steering bushes are goosed though both sides so nee...

OK ended up 280 with new pump pickup pipe , and fixed , running like a dream now , thanks for your advice guys ..,

no more halfords oil is going in in future and oil change more often

I feel for you mate, it's one thing modern oils seam to do to often on engines and made even worse by the fact vw used a sump that was too small for the job although i don't think that is the only reason for sludge a lot of Saab owners are having the same problem and some American forum did success...

Have you heard knocking/tapping from cam cover area? If so i would try a flush but use Wynns not STP flush, Drain the oil but let it drian for a good few hours i did this and some nice deposit blobs come out, refill with cheap oil run till hot then drain that to clear out any flush left then refill...

The sensor is located just above the oil filter / oil cooler , you can see it easily if you remove the coolant header tank , would be worth changing this sensor first . My car is twelve years old and had 150,000 miles on it when I took the sump off . Did your car have service history ? yeah full se...

Check you have the correct larger filter on your car , check your oil pressure sensor , check the wiring to the oil pressure sensor . Try an oil change first before you go any further . I just used two cans one engine flush/conditioner, dropped the oil, cleared the breather pipes, new oil and filter and job jobbed. That said I had to take the sump off two weeks later anyway when I smashed it. All nice and clean inside :) where are the breather pipes , do you think i should try you...

halfords have quoted me about 230 for the job ... im not sure weather i trust a local garage to do it tbh .. and the guy sounded like they have done it many times and said its a common fault , he also mentioned the oil pump will need cleaning etc , so do you think that is a fair price ...

Not good. At minimum you're going to have to take the sump off and clean it out together with the oil pump and strainer. Fresh oil and filter and see how it goes. Out of interest what oil and filter have you been using? How often have you changed it? i serviced it 10,000 miles ago , used some halfo...

anyone got any advice on this , Yesterday going down the motorway i had , stop car oil pressure light beeping on ... i harder i drive this comes on pretty often now , so driving really easy and its has stopped coming on , I know its sludge in the sump ... is there any way i can flush this out withou...

in my sportback it was lit and when you pressed it the light went out , on this it lights up when it want's and doesnt work ,m so annoying as i really need it

i wonder iff you cold use an audi switch mine seems much better on the sportback ..

mulitiple failure sound like a couple of coils have gone down ... mine was misfire on cil 4 ,

turned out to be a coil pack ....
