I have read that this seems to be a common issue but every post I've read seems to affect DSG equipped cars only.

Mine is a manual (B7 2.0 tdi 140) but the issue sounds exactly the same.

Do manual cars have the secondary/inline thermostat? Anyone able to confirm for me please?

I'm wondering if I have an issue now I've read this. Mine only sits at 90degrees on a long run, at least 10 miles or so of m'way speeds.
