Thanks. That seems to mount the bikes much higher. There is a 3 bike hanging version, but the picture looks like it will interfere with the lights.

Maybe 2 bikes is the only way to go....

Because of where the lights and number plate are located, I doubt you will get a 3 bike carrier that doesn’t require a light board and number plate. Hi all, I have a B8 estate and I would like to get a rear cycle carrier for it to carry 3 bikes. What I am not sure of at the moment through, is if any of the carriers obstruct the lights/registration plate and therefore need a rear number plate board. I don't have the electrics for this on the back...
