The plenum chamber is clear and my carpaets have always been dry on the top and underneath carpet so isn't that issue. My windscreen does usually fog up during normal times, but not too much, but this mo...

Re: MP3 Gamma Radio

Fluke what you listed is something I would desire the most (okay it doesn't do the charging but i suppose it's not the end of the world if it doesn't work) But what you listed I've seen around and it doesn't work on gamma's, because it's not blanpunkts. From what I've read it doesn't work, because i...

MP3 Gamma Radio

Tried looking online but confused and seen other forums where people have bought the wrong things. Can anyone on here link me to what I need to buy, so I can plug my mp3 player into an aux in. Don't care if the CD player is out of action whilst it's plugged in, preferably a cable which charges too (...

Re: Temperature

Hello, I've been trying to read about replacing the thermostat, from what I saw it seemd a mission by taking off the alternator and some massive chunk of metal, didn't look easy to me :( I've got the 2.0litre petrol AZM engine. Will have a look in my haynes manual as I've only looked online at work,...

Temperature

Hello, recently I've noticed my car is going just below 90oC on the temperature guage. It'll be fine for ages, but thenn if I'm on the motorway and there's a steepish hill going down the temperature guage will show it's abit below 90oC, then I carry on driving then it'll go back up to 90oC again and...

Re: strange noise on turning the key

When you say a weird noise, does it last for a few secs?

It could just be the fuel pump turning on

Re: locking wheel nut

Hi. You say you've misplaced it, have you used it before or first time? When I first got my car and got in abit of a stressy, then found out this. Get your toolkit out, where the wrench is, open the flap and top right there is a little compartment and the locking wheel nut goes in there. It's quite ...

Re: HIDS and LED sidelight upgrade - lots of pics

hmm, I'm tempted by the 4300k's, any way you could upload the installation guide for me to have a look at. Any cutting or splicing of wires? Wish the law wasn't so picky on having retro fit HID's and I bet if you have an accident with them fitted, your insurance will be void. But still interested :D

Exhaust Smell inside

Another little problem here, which would be good to know if anyone else knows wha it could be. When I was changing my air filter a few months back I noticed I could smell the same smell in the air filter box. If I'm in traffic and have my fan set to econ, I get a faintish smell of emissions and soon...

Alarm Sound

I've got a 2002 passat, if I lock the car, and I'm still in it and move around I see the alarm has been set, because of the hazards flashing, however there is no sound. I'm not too fussed about it, but if it's a simple fix, it would be good to know. The horn works fine, so could it be a relay or fus...

2.0 petrol

Hello, I've got a 2.0 petrol AZM engine code. I was wondering if anyone could guide me on how to change the spark plugs. I thought it would be straight forward (and probably is) however there seems to be injectors and other thigns in the way. Do these need to be removed or can I fit around them. If ...
