Re: juddering

A bunged up fuel filter can cause juddering, when I got mine it did it but only when accelerated hard, changed the Injector loom, still the same. Than a mate said try changing the fuel filter as poo in there can cause it. Did that and the problem went away

Re: PDC Buzzer Location

If its the estate then it's easy to get to. If you open the first aid hatch in the back and you should see the fuel flap motor. It's clipped onto a holder with the control module then that is just clipped on to the motor bracket

HOW TO: Inner & outer trackrod ends (Sized Ones)

Right after searching online for awhile for an good easy how to guide on how to removing inner & outer trackrod together(Sized or not) and only finding little information. I though I would just give it a go without a guide myself and take a lot of pictures to make a guide. There are a lot of gui...

Not really much to update on but I finally got around to doing both inner and outer track rod ends as both were sized soiled and while getting a tyre replaced a few months ago I found another knacked CV rubber. :0 http://www.cdgold.co.uk/polo-mk3/ukpassat/my_passat/other/2014_cv_tracking/1.jpg Even ...

Re: Flashing Handbrake light???

The go button will only be un garyed if you want to start a test but as you needed to recoding the abs module the next step after recoding is the test (and there is no way around it) That's why it went off when you drove, as you did the test. (Even if you didn't mean too) There is no link between th...

Re: I want heated seats + help

Problem is i'm rubbish with electrics, so don't mind forking out for pre-made as I've been after these for years now, but good to know Teeside is OEM-ish items Is the PDF in the first post pretty good? I just want it to be push in for the connections and no soldering/splicing OEM-ish? Did you not r...

You need to remember vw teesside suppliers original new vw kits that's my the price is high. The kufatec stuff is new and made out of original vw connectors and normal wiring. (But up to code) There are also guides online to self make the loom. (With the correct bits from the scrappy) I have a kufat...

I scanned with vagcom and it comes up with module recoding message and steering angle sensor. Its doesnt say the steering function test as the video above states. You need to do this first then: Coding the Bosch 5.3 and 5.7 ABS Modules: http://youtu.be/G7YRiVYrLjo Sounds like the abs module has for...

I have sorted this now, as I managed to source a set of the exact same clocks from a company in Poland! Has been a nightmare trying to get a payment to them and the postage was pricey, but for £130 I have a working set of Passat TDI Gl clocks for my VW Transporter heading to me shortly!! :ymapplau...

Re: Flashing Handbrake light???

When you change a slip ring normally don't need to do a adaptation but sometimes it does kick up a fault. Any faults with abs and esp will kick up a break fault (hand brake light flashing) Can you post a photo of the slip ring? As the b5 normally has a round one and b5.5 is an square one. The b5.5 u...

Re: Turbo repair or replace??? What would you do?

Thanks Guys,

It's one of them really, do I spend 250 - 400 on a new/reconditioned turbo or around £100 to 150 on a char.

The char looks more money friendly to me and some of the youtube guides don't look too bad to do to me.

[emoji37] But the begin of this week the sound has gone and the car seems fine. I'm having non of the problems that iv read online abo...

Any chance you could post a video of what the cluster is doing? As yours is a 2000 b5 it maybe a faulty cluster/wiring. The car won't start if the ecu and dash can't talk to each other as they are both linked for the immobiliser. On the climatronic panel not illuminating it will only light up with i...
