this should do the trick:

and use Audi TT rear wishbone bushes...they are solid, stiffer rubber, fit straight in...and don't bind like poly bushes...

Re: FREE B3 / B4 Stuff

I work irregular hours, so get on when I can. TBH - I really just want someone who has a B3 or B4 to just come and take the lot away. I simply don't have the time for it any more. Also, just to mention that it's not worth my while to send lots of individual items out by post when I'm giving it away...

Re: Board Colours

I have to say Lurch - I wish you saw UKP before the original face lift...Its a massive improvement. Obviously this website and forum is on a budget, as owning a Passat is being a minority in the scene. i.e. less users, less money. It did, after all, start out as a hobby...an enthusiasts website with...

Please don't make the Passat community look like a bunch of boring trainspotters who tuck their jumpers into their corduroy slacks...Remember, you are our voice in this scene!

It has to be vibrant and fresh. And we had that. :((

...Charcoal, however, uses a lot less board resources, loads faster and will allow the board to run faster... 4x6 - Not many decent speakers offered in that size over here as its an 'old' size and not much of a market. I have this size in my Mk 2 Polo. I wanted to upgrade them so I bought these 4x6 'plate' speakers from the states: http://www.crutchfield.com/s_1084629CFP/Infinity-Kappa-462-9cfp.html?tp=100&...

No worries! In case you don't know already - Measure how much exposed thread there is behind the track rod lock-nut, as you'll have to put the new one on with this same measurement. You'll also need a ball joint separator to remove the track rod from the hub...one like this: http://www.toolbo...

Re: Knocking and creaking through sterring P reg saloon TDI

Eliminate one thing at a time...Knocking could be any number of things. I'd concentrate on fixing the creaking first. If its just when its on full lock, It could be a loose PAS belt, check that and the fluid levels. When was the last time it had new fluid?...It has to be replaced every so often, and...

Ok...So to release the main pump housing from the tank, you turn anti clock wise. It should turn roughly about 1" before it releases, then you pull up and away. I think it was quite tough to remove (flashback!). To help give you more muscle - a rubber/canvas strap oil filter removing tool shoul...
