Fitted a Valeo kit also to a 1.9 last year. Drove nicer than standard due to a bit lighter. No difference in refinement whatsoever.

I retrofitted the entire chrome trim onto my S model from a water damaged car. I removed the trim from the donor car and refitted it onto mine. To seal the window surrounds onto the doors in place of the VW bond I used Tiger Seal PU adhesive. Still fine almost five years later.

Ah yes. Perfect and then that way once coded when you pull the stalk with headlights off they flash just like OEM. Saw it in a new CC at work and remembered it was on the to do list!

I use gliptone for the balm as well. funny old smell off it alright

I use autosmart bio max carpet cleaner neat on the rest of the interior to remove stains, works a charm!

I have the same, but with aftermarket D2s bulbs and ballasts. I have OEM D1s bulbs but can't afford ballasts!
