Regarding the two small push-to-open drawers either side of the hazard light button: BOTH have stopped working and wont close. I think something sipped out of the back of one, and blocked its closing, but then the other one has also stopped closing. Does anyone know a quick and easy way to remove th...

Re: B6 hot starting
Many thanks for all the input. with the big cover on top of the whole engine bay its hard to take a look at where the cam position sensor is, good thinking on VWs part to stop you accessing and fixing things yourself! From cold the engine starts perfect, even from under a foot of snow, its just when...

Re: B6 hot starting
Many thanks for the suggestions, can anyone tell me what the cam position sensor part is, in terms of where it is and what it looks like?
I am guessing its accessible if you know what you are looking for.

2.0 litre diesel passat, 2006, engine management lamp
The engine management lamp on my Passat has just come on and the car has gone into limp mode. It happened as I was accelerating up a very steep hill. The car has previously been running great, it has only recently done 30,000 miles, and was services just two weeks ago. I have no idea about the techn...

2006 passat estate 2.0 Diesel SE blower control
The blower on my passat will only work on setting 4, settings 1,2 and 3 do not blow at all. All other controls seem ok including heating and cooling temperature control. I have seen several posts on various websites regarding this issue with each one suggesting a different cause and solution. The 'r...
