These type of seats should fit. http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e9/Choc1/Passat/2.jpg I have these and although i like the feel, i want leather/alcantara highline seats Yeah, tell me about it. I couldn't find the leather option with the mileage I was happy with when I was looking for a Tdi Estate...

Re: B6 2.0 140
Just traded in my B5 and got myself a 2 litre 140 B6. Superb car or so I thought until I read some of the posts on here concerning this vehicle. It would appear I have bought what appears to be a problem model, believe I have the BKP engine (too cold to go out and check) well it is the 57 model so ...

Re: The best B6 TDI?
I would say, if you want a B6, get one! All cars have faults and yes I agree, the B6 build quality doesn't even seem as good as my mk4 Golf. I remember buying a mk3 Golf GTi, everyone said they were poo, but in my opinion, they still make a great car to mod and it handled really well and I regret se...

Re: b6 question from my neighbour
Mmmm, interesting. I went for an interview at my local main stealer the other month. During the interview process we got talking about what car I drive & why. After I told them I had a B6 Passat, I was asked if the hand brake had failed yet or if I had the cam belt changed at 40k. Intrigued as I...

Custom Code will take a 2ltr T from 200 to 240-250bhp.

Sounds like a worth while map in the Passat.

Re: 3.5mm socket?
I have recently acquired a B6 estate "S"....basic. It has a DD radio/CDplayer, but does it have a 3.5mm input socket hidden away? Very conflicting info. in the "instruction manual" I do not need ipod connectivity just a plain MP3 player. If there is not a socket fitted, what is ...

Re: Clutch Slipping
Yes, I would get it done.
Got a B6 estate, done 66k, just had a new clutch (not totally worn, but whilst everything was stripped down for another fault, thought it would be wise to put a new one in), not a happy chappy.
