Re: what debadged grill/ + other things?
Rear spoiler imo, estates look great with them (biased opinion I know!) I want to get one of the OEM Votex tailgate spoilers for mine ... but they seem hard to find. Also I've started debadging mine ... the "PASSAT" part came off fine, but the TDI has left a rather noticeable bit of adhes...

Door Pins
Anyone on here got any idea how you swap the door pins on a 2003 Passat? I've got a few (OEM VW) Metal Pins to replace the plastic ones with and the instruction I've found so far are as follows; Rotate pin 90 degrees so that the little dot on the top points to the rear of the car Pull pin straight o...

Quite nice though, still ... if I wanted a VW coupé it would be a Passat CC I think

Those would be the headlamp washers, rare to catch them in the wild... tend to hide in the bumper most of the time, only popping out for a few seconds at a timekaliboy wrote:what's with the little R2-D2 arm-thing on the front! It's cool and I want one. (on my car, of course)

You still got your 3 spoke wheel, if so would you be interested in parting with it ... mine's the only thing inside that makes mine LOOK like it's done 100,000 miles.

Your Jetta Sportswagen (sounds so much better than Golf Estate ;)) is stunning ... shame to see the passat go but I must admit I'm not as keen on the B6 as the B5.5 either :P I seem to remember you said something about "not modding this one" when you bought it ... good to see you changed y...

Okay then, what about using coathanger wire or similar to budge the sludge... without removing the battery... would that be feasible I wonder... only someone who's been there would know... I'm relatively new to VAG cars... but before the Passat I had a Volvo S40 which I'd say was similar to the VW in build quality, slightly more comfortable but not as nice to drive - I'd probably own another one without any hesitation to be honest, just with a better engine! The only other manufacture...

Re: Just for the hell of it...flash b5.5 cluster eeprom onto b5
Slightly off-topic for the original post but ... is it possible to swap the cluster of a B5.5 with the full height FIS one, if so will it work fully (e.g. integrate with VW MFD, show which door is open, display warnings correctly etc)
