Re: HELP! Locking nut issue..
Yea 100% the dealer will have the right one. I don't use them as there completely useless anyway. Search "lock wheel nut removal" on YouTube to see why! That just like saying I dont bother using my door locks cos they can just break the windows. Its not a cure, but its a preventative meth...

Re: decat.......no owl
put your foot down and wait until the car has just started to pull like a truck, then change gear. it makes a "pssssshhhhhh hoooot" noise and gets all the girlies wet hahaASpooner wrote:I can hear the 'owl' noise if I give it a shove and change gear at relatively low revs. Quite pleasing.

Re: passat vs fiesta st
Ive had a couple of run ins with fiesta ST's. Both since getting my car remapped, I pulled away but not at a MASSIVE rate.
If your car is standard then its not possible if he was hooning it. Maybe he thought he'd let you have this one

I had a New Golf as well. It was a Match 1.6 TDI BMT. Touch screen radio, Bluetooth, Cruise, Auto lights ,Wipers the lot. No ball of fire, but a cracking car that made the Passat feel very old when I got it back. Thats EXACTLY what I thought when I got back in my car today! Not taken any pics yet b...

Re: Boot will not open
I cant see it being the fuse then if everything seems ok audio wise. Does it even move slightly or just stick compleatley in place? The only thing i can suggest is attempt to remove the panel from the inside which is a pig to do, 4 screws, 2 at either side of the panel near the window and 2 inside t...

Re: Boot will not open
Humm. And its making the noise as if it was trying to open? I had a similar issue last week where pressing the button to unlock the boot would blow the fuse for the convenience controller. I think it was either fuse 6 or 12 that was blowing on mine. Might be worth looking at all the fuses as i think...

Re: 0.216 nozzles
You'd have to make sure you get new seals. Seen a horror story on here before where someone had some injector work done without new seals and the injector slowly leaked diesel into the rocket cover mixing with the oil which sent the oil level massively high which blew the seals on the turbo and caus...
