Re: Wobble Bolts

Wobble bolts or PCD Correction bolts as they are also known are wheel bolts with a floating seat rather than fixed, the seat collar is over sized to the bolt allowing it to seat off centre to the bolt thread. It allows a 2mm correction in PCD, 4X100 wheels on a 4x98 car for example. Sent from my GT-...

You will get what you pay for, neither are cheap budget coilovers, but the KW's will be worlds better than the AP's :)

Re: Urgent HELP REQUIRED PLEASE (BOOST PIPE)

Push pipe in, screw self tapers in perpendicular to the pipe, through the Intercooler and hose end to hold it in.

A bodge, and one that will ruin the intercooler outlet but by the sounds of it your intercooler is past it anyway :)

Do the ones you tried to fit only pig tail at one end? And look different to the ones in the link above?

Don't fit in what way? All the 2wd b5 & b5.5 passats share spring fitment, Å•eset inks are different but they will all fit.

Re: Brake / caliper difference?

You need to have the 288mm brakes to start with for a carrier and disc swap to 312mm, if you start with 280mm you need Calipers and Pads as well. :)

Re: Tdi passat b5.5 tyres want bigger tyre for more bounce

60 ' s will fit, be aware of the minor changes it can make though.

My thoughts though are that is 55 profile tyres and stock suspension is a bit rough for you, a 60 profile I'm should be out of the question, you need a mobile mattress to roll round on

Re: 'S' curve?

As above, you can see the boot is further up the shaft on the meyle one, the key point it the size of the shaft and it's position relative to the centre line of the track arm, again though any amount of lowering will change the angle at which the arm and joint interface with the upright, so really a...

Re: Correct tyre pressure

To add, the pressure required is indeed calculated based on 5 he weight to be carried, changing tyre size doesn't change the weight to be carried. However I always fill mine a touch more, I find a slight over inflation pushes the centre of the tyre out enough to counter the camber gain from lowering...

Re: Correct tyre pressure

There's nothing complicated about that. Your car could be fitted with 4 different sizes of tyre. Regardless of which tyre you have, it tells you how much pressure to put in the front and rear tyres dependent on load. So to keep it simple, put 33 psi in all round normally and 36psi in the front with...

You will struggle to remove that bump strip from the bumper without removing the bumper first, unless of course you hare happy to risk damage to the strip and bumper itself :)

Re: 6n polo front hub conversion

The truth of the matter there is that is you went really low on those coilovers you would actually be doing the steering arms a favor by shifting the arm down like you have done, as the angle of the arms would be closer to standard :)
