Been doing some maintainance on it. Changed both cts and coolant. Now heaters blow warm. Changed the drop links tonight. And getting the rear wheel bearings done tomorrow night. I just need to track down some track rod ends now. Since it has a catch can instead of the pcv. I emptied that last night ...

Anti roll bar bushes
Thermostat
Coolant temp sensors

So didn't want to order online really.

I seem to having difficulty getting a pair of these.
Tps = discontinued
Andrew pages do have them either.
I don't really want to use euro car parts nor Gsf as I'm fed up with returning faulty parts.

Any where else I can try?

Adding to this (not doing all the bushes in poly) I've just been having a good check over the car tonight and noticed a couple of things. 1 - need to change the anti roll bar bushes as there starting to perish. I was thinking of just using the poly bushes on that. Will mk3 golf ones fit. And need a ...

Don't buy cheap ones they don't last.

Try TPS or vw them selves if Tps won't serve you.

That's the difference between the b4 and b3 UK cars.

I compared my b4 to my mates b3 while both the dashes were out.

The controls on for the b4 heater are different to the b3 ones.
The temp one is in the middle but the other two are the opposite way round.

But the cables look the same but there routed differently.

You could maybe change the heater box and controls over.

Is this a vr now then ?

I might look into the rear arb then if it will help me Vr go round corners without wanting to go straight.

This is a great conversion and really improves the handling of these wagons especially if you have a 4 cylinder in the front rather than a VR6. Much more sure footed due to better scrub radius and more front castor. Just a quick note though that you don't want to swap the rear beam into a B3 as IIR...

It's going to take me a while to get the money together and parts etc.

I'm planing on making it a 3.0L turbo using forged Pistons and rods. To lower the compression rather than the cheaper way of using a head spacer.

But keep an eye this

I need some new ones. As one has rotted so may as well do both.
