Tracking

Hi all,

I am not sure if this is entirely true or not but can I lower my car a tiny bit (10mm) without having to get the tracking done?

I've just got some spacers and I am happy with rear height just want to level the front out a bit!

Re: Running temperature from Climate control

Mine sits at 75 degrees all the time at this time of year... has done in all my diesels. They run a lot cooler than petrols. And the outside temp.is colder at this time of year. If you are still getting good mpg and it's running fine I'd just leave it

Re: top n bottom hose clips help

If it's the one in the plastic housing at the bottom I just used a spoke off a bike... my mates Dads part manager and said he could only get the housing.

Just go to your local bike shop... Had mine on for over a year now and had now problems, plus they are coated so they don't corrode as easy

Re: Car Tax Disc to be axed after 93 years.

It's actually stupid.... what happens if you've taxed your car after and mot and the re insured it and the database hasn't been updated... you cars now suddenly not insured when a policeman pulls you over.

Re: Clutch juddering

Mine did this last winter and has now started doing it again this winter... think it's something to do with the cold and the DMF I've done about 20k since and it's fine... mines still on it's original clutch at 230k so yours should be fine if you drive it vaguely sensibley

Re: Passat B5.5 Headlights Reviews......

If you headlights are poo I wouldn't waste your time on a HID kit... I just went back to bulbs on mine because the HIDs were poor. Best option would be finding a good set of second hand ones or buying some DEPO ones

Was it quite tight? I am assuming I can use a long bar to lever the engine back if I need more room

Snub mount removal without taking the front off

I've just read Karls thread on how to change the snub mount. I have also read this one http://www.passatworld.com/forums/68-b5-garage/342798-easiest-v6-snub-mount-diy-install-ever-no-service-position-bumper-removal.html And it suggests that I can do it without removing the front end, has anyone else...
