Yes they are identical, I have an AWX and my box went last year, I put an FHN box in (replaced the oil at the same time too). All good.

I had the same issue with mine, every so often I would have to open up the remote fob and flex the metal prongs that make contact with the battery. I wouldn't worry, mine has a 5 there.

If you're doing the job yourself, make sure you search the forum for tips etc, loads of info on here. Main thing is the pinch bolt, needs lots of penetrating oil and patience

It's stopped my rattle by using the silicone so I'm happy

I had to clean the pad guides with a small file to enable the pads to slide freely. Used a little Cer Tec brake lube too. Too light steering is taking away road feel. At least I never liked that. And as I mentioned above, you don't know if seals in pump and steering rack are designed for that other type of fluid. It might start to leak after year, it might not. With correct fluid at least you are safe not to damage so...
