I will check the fuse again tomorrow to see if any power is getting through I only checked that it hadn't blown! I am kicking myself now.

The car is 2002 I'm not sure on the engine code where can I find it?

Hi Dave There is no power at pin 1 I must admit I didn't check the earth at pin 4 I will try that tomorrow I will also try powering the pump directly. I checked the fuse at position 28 and it passes continuity check but I wasn't sure if that came before or after the relay and actually I'm not 100% s...

well I got the Mrs to turn the key while I had the meter on the pump connection nothing at all and no noise on the pump.

I was going to check the pump by connecting 12v straight to the pump but haven't done that yet.

Bad news I still don't have a clue! Got a meter on the plug to the fuel tank and no reading the wires going in to it... Great I thought it must be an electrical fault checked the fuse and no issue there next thought was the relay Dave mentioned so I managed to get to the box after removing the wiper...

Right I had a better look tonight! There is no fuel in the filter at all so it leads me to think it is the Fuel pump only issue is that I fitted a radio in the car and now I am thinking it could be an electrical fault so I managed to get to the tank but do you think I can remove the electrical conne...

It will crank then eventually fire then die again I was thinking it had to be fuel related so will check the filter in the light tomorrow
