u got it all on now?? i reckon u will need to trim the lower back section of bumper to go round the pipe work not the actual bumper but one of the little slats that are visible when the lower grill sections are removed

u need to the cooler as far back and as close to the rads as possible else it fowls the bumper some of us even trimmed bits of the bumper behind to allow the pipe work to fit round it

what error codes u got coming up?

alternator replaced all working spot on now so plan on giving it a good clean this week to get some nice shiny for sale pictures up

right ill end this now was sold a fooked alternator pulley fitted a replacement alternator today runs spot on :)

After alternator pulley swap error

Hi all had my alternator pulley swapped today and since re fit I have had alternator workshop error come up on dash for a split second then go off

Car drives fine battery is being charged at 14.2v when engine is idle

Why is this popping up ??

the only issue i use to have with mdf is it acts like a sponge dampness /water is attracted to it then it goes all soft and crappy, try coating the surface in pva glue that could help make the wood sort of water proof or at least last a bit longer

Clutch pulley or alternator removal

Guys I'm planning on doing this one evening this week witch is easiest to do front end off/ moved forward anc remove pully while its fitted or just removal of alternator and remove the pulley off the car ?? Pro's or cons??

there was a rebuild kit available that has a new pipe for going up the middle but it was about the same price as u could get a complete one for off ebay, i had one that was blocked i managed to un block it by pushing some fine wire from work down the middle

well a long over due up-date i finally got round to picking up a replacement UN-DENTED rear boot spent 2 hours this morning collecting it then spent the next 3 hours swapping it over so got a few in process pics for you all: dented boot with a sticker covering up the dent: http://i2.photobucket.com/...

what parts have u had changed??

find a mot test place that has the hydraulic ramp jig for moving / testing the front bushes and links on cars get them to check it out for you

Iv got a complete front panel fir ur shape of passat with rad and air con rad u can have it if u collect can't garrentee the condition of the rads but they look useable
