Yeah the prices do seem to be a little over zealous sometimes, but I think with this part it might save you a load of chasing round. How much would you pay yourself on an hourly rate, I try and view it like that as some sort of justification to having to take it in the rear

Yeah I think you are right as I bought an 8v GT, but also pulled a 16v GT off the scrapper for the motor.

Should be easy to tell once you look at the motor though.

Have you called the stealers? My parts guy is proper ace, he loves a good challenge. I call him to clarify stuff, when I ordered the poly kit for her B6, I had to call him to confirm the size of the front anti roll bar. Might be worth a shot just to see if they can shed any light on it. My local gar...

Not sure on the tractor engine, but the wife's B6 seems to be getting noisier, so would be interested in any answers offered.

As for the soundproofing, it is more of a ICE thing, which in that case Dynamat seems to get used a hell of a lot.

I would say they are worth what someone is willing to pay. I can imagine that there is quite a market out there for them though, so would expect them to have quite a high premium. That said there is a certain B6 owner who paid less a pittance for a couple of Bentley seats. He is a very lucky guy tho...

I am no expert on this, so please do not shoot me down. But I would have thought there are two elements, and therefore I would be surprised to see both elements go at the same time.

Would there not be a way of testing voltage at the seat?
