Took her along the way through France belgum to holland with step kids and mrs. What an epic car so good on fuel racked up 840 miles in a week yeah. So comfy. Just want to say how great these cars are. Mine 2006 1.9 tdi bxe code

Well I have had the kit fitted. And after google review on these kits and dark side developments says solid conversion is fine . There are very little rattles almost drives stock...

Valeo solid flywheel conversion
I just had my 2006 1.9 bxe tdi have this done as my dual mass flywheel was knackered . Wow so smooth light clutch. Slightly harder to get into gear but well worth the conversion. Will update later as I only just had it done. But since I am having the car for another 5 years . No need to worry about ...

Right after futher inspection I have noticed that it doesnt rattle when I press the clutch. So does that mean that it is the flywheel like mentioned earlier. If so I was going to drive it to Holland in a months time would this be safe. Does it mean it is ok to drive but is loud at idle?

Can people put on here who has had remaps and there experience please. I want to use awesome gti remaps for £150 but its bloody miles away. Anyone on here used remaps companies down south I live near portsmouth way. and have a 1.9 tdi b6. Thoughts prices and just general info would be great thanks.

Well all done now I changed the fuel filter using the tourq tool first tool broke but had a second tool. Done the oil and fuel and air filter with the oil. All ok for another 10k miles. Thanks to Ecp 25% discount saved me some pennies

How to change the fuel filter on a 1.9 tdi
I was wondering how to change the fuel filter on my 2006 1.9tdi as it is due a service and I wonder if you have to prime the fuel pump or anything difficult. I know how to do oil and filter and oar filter changes. Any help would be good

I need some new front pads and disks in the next month or so and had a ring around GSF are Disks £25.75 for there own or £34.95 plus vat for OE ones Pads £19.50 for there brand or £29.50 plus vat for OE ones so thats £119.28 inc vat on the oe ones Euro Car Parts do them for £32.50 for the pads...

Well there was no fault code on the dash. But when I drove it back home from work it was fine again. Would it be the EGR valve I was told that it could need cleaning. What is this thing and where is it?

Is there much difference in the remap in terms of drive ability ands fuel economy and reliability ? Sounds like a good thing and not to expensive either. Is it worth it basically.
