Happy New year all , So my b5 drives side lock is getting worse to the point the widows drop when am unlocking the car sometimes locking it my passenger window sounds awful lots of grinding noises and stops and then drops back down and I have to give it a helping hand back up am not too fussed about...

There was no fuse for mine (b5 1.9tdi s) I checked mine were not even metal connections in the slot for the fuse but I bought some new heated mirrors off eBay bobs your uncle they work great now

How many miles are you getting from a tank ???
So what are people getting from their cars mine is a b5 1.9tdi saloon with no mods , Just serviced once a year . My pb from a full tank was this summer at 717miles about 300 of them miles was spent at 80 not if sure that normal for a tank or not ?

Well nearly 500miles so the dash is saying which is fitting in nicly with it about a year since was last done. But this time I want to do the oil and filter myself my question is how much does it hold ( b5 1.9tdi )

I've pulled the vacuum pipe off and plugged it done about 300miles so far it's tiny bit more responsive all I want is mpg won't know if it's any better till done bit more miles

There isn't any valves which stops coolant flow to matrix, air temperature is adjusted with air flaps. They are foam covered, and through years can start to let cold air through, other possibility is that your thermostat isn't closing fully, coolant can't reach 90°at cold weather and your heater is...
