Help, I got a problem. Well my wife has a problem so there for i have one. 2002 GT TDI 130 PD Mk 4 Golf. 160,000m miles regually serviced, runs fine on tick over and revs fine even sounds like the turbo is spinning but it drives like a slug. No boost what so ever slow as a snail. It all of a sudden happened as well with out any pops bangs or smoke
I dont think the turbo has 'gone' as there were no tell tail signs. (noises or smoke) but there is now umph at all. Reminds me of the Mk4 SDI.
Please tell me its just a case of giving it a little kiss and its all better. I have had no luck lately with either cars and cant be doing with a turbo change as i havent needed swing a spanner in a few years.
If only they did a W8 diesel
