mk Golf lost brakes

Post by johnsbegood »

hi, mate asked if i could have a look at his brakes on his 1999 1.6 Golf as the pedal suddenly dropped to the floor and had lost about 90% of his braking performance. i had a look and found his rear passenger side caliper soaking. on taking off the wheel it was weeping out of where the fluid line enter the caliper. changed with a new hose and rebleed the system fully, furthest to closest but still there is no brakes on it. i was thinking that the seals may have flipped in the master cylinder? i bleed the little valve on the master cylinder at the top but couldnt reach the lower one as too tight for my hands. any suggestions?? cheers
