VAG-COM technical query

Can anybody tell me if VAG-COM 311.2 (serial) will reset service interval on an A4 Avant 3.0 TDi, B8 (58 Plate)?

If so what are the correct channels and values to be entered in [17 - Instruments] [Adaptation - 10]?

Also, does cable have to be set to Normal or K2?
