Audi TT MK1 headlights

Hi,
Anyone know if you can polish up the headlights on a MK1 Audi TT,
the headlights I have got are the genuine Audi xenon ones and they look tinted have a very fine lines maybe crazing on the inside of the light (could be fine cracks) but they look like they are meant to be there as they are very symmetrical.
Anyone ever done a set of these?? before I attack them tomorrow with a small mop head? and polishing kit
Don't really want to mess them up as they are £600 a piece from Euros let alone Audi's price
