Minor scratches on windscreen

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any sugesstions short of changing screen to get rid of the minor scratches that are on a screen, basically its the ones that get put in by previous owners not changing/cleaning them , got some new wipers coming and was wanting to get rid of the scracthes if poss ?????? any suggestions greatfully recieved
