so today it was Wendys passat that got the prestige treatment this was a step down from a full machine polish with using autoglym srp instead of my usual merenza but the finish was stunning after a long days work
so first off it was to get the car rinsed down and ready for its pre wash
the car was rinse off lightly and the full body covered in an all purpose cleaner mixed at 10:1 to loosen up the light grime prior to washing
the wheels were sprayed with concept wheel cleaner 10 : 1 and agitated with a variety of swissvax brushes and ez detail brush used for the inside's of the wheel's while the arches and tyres were scrubbed with a grout sponge
while the apc was doing it's thing all the door jam's badges and fuel filler sprayed with a 25:1 apc mixture while the engine was cleaned with a 4:1 apc mix and scrubbed with various brushes and old mitts
the car was then washed via the two bucket method with two noodle wash mitts while the car was claybarred with sonus fine green clay and then re washed and dried with clean microfibres
the bodywork was polished with autoglym super resin polish via the rotary on a blue finishing pad at 1500 rpm
the choice of protection was jetseal 109 via the rotary on a red waxing pad
the wheels were polished and sealed with jetseal 109 while the tyres and arches were dressed with megs all season dressing
windows were done with autoglym glass polish and interior was giving a thorough hoovering and all crevises brushed while the interior plastics were cleaned with a damp cloth and apc cut 25 : 1
and done
Hope you dont mind the framed pics with the company name on them ???
