Cheap Karcher Pressure washers

Post by desertstorm »

Hello all,
My trusty Karcher pressure washer that I have had for over 10 years expired the other day.
Saw these in Tesco http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.209-9316.aspx
They looked good but after looking at the spec and various articles on the web it appears the K1 and K2 series are designed for light duty at home and have the cheaper universal motors.

Doing a bit more digging found this site

Basically Karcher are selling A grade jet washers and they have a bit of a sale on at the moment.
The K3 and K4 range are designed for home use but are more rugged and use water cooled induction motors.
Bought one of these and it came today, And I am very impressed. It has some marks on the wheels and a few small marks here and there overall looks like it's been used once or twice. It comes with a 6 month warranty and also came with the dirtblaster and a brush as well which isn't shown as being included? The 6M hose means I can get all around the car without having to move the jetwash which I had to do with the old one.
The equivalent model at Tesco is £239. That includes a patio cleaner as well but you can add one of those for £23.
