Traffic Flow on B8 Discovery Nav

Hi

I have a new B8 saloon (SE Business) with Discovery Navigation. A friend has a B7 which indicates traffic flow ahead by showing small images of cars but even though I've switched traffic flow settings on, I don't seem to get anything showing on the screen (and, yes, I have driven in busy areas :esm ).

Can anyone tell me if this is correct for my model and if so, how traffic flow is shown?
