bump strip adhesive

Guy's...what's the best method to remove the sticky strips under the black bump strips ...I've removed them to paint...but it's left this sticky residue...

And any idea's where I get the sticky strips from once I put them back on ???

Or do you guys use something else...like no nails (only kidding )
