Not the car I paid for?

Hi all,

Last July I bought an 06 Passat 170 DSG sport estate. Rang up my insurance, gave them the plate, changed car mid policy, job done.

Now it's insurance renewal time, and i'm going through the motions of getting quotes, and I notice that the car is coming up as a 140 not a 170.

I've been out and verified the engine code, and yep, it's a 140.

Do I have a leg to stand on if I go back to the dealer and complain? It's bad enough that I'm already fighting with VW over the rusty boot issue with it. I've got a receipt for the purchase which shows it as a 170.
