Insurance claim advice...

On the 22nd of this month I had a small bump where a lady bumped into me, she has admitted liability via text, I have informed my insurance company but not hers yet, I'm fully comp but she wants to avoid a claim on her policy and has agreed to give me the £600 auto-restore have quoted me for the work.

I need the work doing November 11th, but by then If I hadn't of gone ahead with the claim I think it will then be too late to actually submit a claim. So to cover myself I have told her that she needs to pay me next week, and that I have in fact submitted a claim to cover myself, and will cancel it once she pays me.

My insurance company sent me a letter last friday the 24th advising I have 14 days to file a claim, but how about her insurance? would it be the same time limit? Basically I'm worried that shell stall paying me and then the date will pass when I can file a claim
