Been on here for a few months now but have been relatively silent.
I'm Nathan, I'm 18 and I passed my test in May 2009, wrote off my parents Ford Focus in August 2009, got 3 points in October 2009 and bought my first car the next day. Quite a year! The car I bought was a 2001 Ford Fiesta with 71000 on the clock. An excellent first car, not quite what I wanted but it was all I could afford after getting 3 points.
What I am really after is a Passat, that's why I'm on here, haha ;) . To be specific I'm after a 1996-2001 Passat 1.8 20v Sport non-turbo. Preferably an estate.

I started this thread because I wanted to document kind of like what Chin. did with his awesome 1.9 Tdi Sport.
I won't be buying the car until May, as I will be driving for a year as of then and the insurance is a bit cheaper. But, I'll be looking.
Any advice and tips from you seasoned pro's will be very appreciated!
