Watched the car going through the MOT yesterday (passed no advisories, nothing MOT guy said very clean car!!), but they don't half rev the engine during the particulate test. Good job they test the oil temperature first!!
Still no black smoke and you could only just see anything coming out of the exhaust, and came away with figures of .81m-1 (I presume that is parts per million or something). It has to be under 3 to pass so it was way under. First time they have given me a printout of that!! A Citroen Berlingo doing the test before smoked like hell and only just passed!!
Passed the MOT!!
