Removing Dog Smell...?

Just picked up my 51 plate B5.5 wagon last night. Car is in VGC, interior is mint apart from... It's been used as a dog car, so even though the rear seats (and probably even the passenger seat) have literally never been sat in, the car smells of dog!
What's the best way to properly get rid of the smell of dog rather than just mask it? I've used a whole 300ml tin of Neutradol Air freshener in there so far, currently the car smells like your nan's downstairs loo, but once it wears off, the dog smell will be back.
So short of gutting the car, and fitting all new boot interior, what can I do? Please help.
