roofbars mk3 golf

Anyone know how they fit ? , or can get any pics
i have just bid and won some vw stamped roofbars , but he states he doesnt know if there for mk3 golf?
they have two ,like prongs at the end that go under the black strip i think?
i cant seem to save the pic on here for some reason?
anyone help?
