Installing a DAB radio

Hello.
First time on here and need a bit of help.
I've recently bought a 2L 56 plate auto Passat and would like to install a DAB radio with bluetooth as I am a cab driver and need the radio to be bluetooth so i can use my mobile for handsfree chat. ( I can't stand ear pieces!)
It still has the original radio in the car which is much wider than a standard size radio.
What would i need to get or do for the new radio to fit in the slot? Do i need some sort of guard or special case for it to slot it?
