Looking for advice regarding water leak.

Hello,im after some advice due to a water leak in my b5.5 passat,i had the door card off the other day due to my driver side carpet front and back being wet.
Seems it is getting in through the door speaker that is ripped,are they riveted in and do you have to rivet the replacement back in? should i reseal it some how? seems the rubber seal that clips to the doorcard had come adrift also,probably from when it had a new door actuator,would that cause the water to get through the speaker and out the bottom of the doorcard?
