2005 model. Hole in the floor?

Sorry if this is a stupid question...
The carpet on the floor panel behind the front passenger seat is always wet, causing loads of moisture to collect on the inside of the windows. Do I need to get underneath and inspect the issue? This car has been kept in a garage for half it's life, have had no other structural/welding issues as yet. Rear window washer and wiper don't work, could it be something to do with that?
