Mods, please feel free to delete this once my question is answered as I'm sure there are thousands of posts like this, but can't find one as specific as I need.
WHEEL QUESTION: I've seen a Passat with 9.5x18 rims, ET40 and they sat absolutely perfect in the arches (just how I want mine to).... but the rims I've seen are not as wide. They're 8.5x18 and I have the option of ET40 or ET30.
Which offset do I choose to fill the arches like the ones I saw?
Thanks for any help, I get the whole offset thing (just) but this is drawing a mental block with me, lol.
