on the STV news website I came across a rather unusual headline-
Walkers warned to keep abreast of bra risk when using GPS devices!
it go`s on to say-
Walkers have been warned of the potentially fatal navigational errors which can be caused by magnets in items they carry including bras and car keys.
The Mountaineering Council of Scotland said incidents where compasses were affected by reverse polarity have been increasing.
Magnets inside mobile phone cases and GPS devices and also the metal in car keys and under-wired bras could affect compass needles, the organisation has warned. It said walkers and climbers were at greatest risk during bad weather.
so, snigger, if you`re out on a walk with your other half, snerk, don`t let her use the compass, guffaw, it could be fatal
