Filter advice - maybe pollen - not car related

So I want to make a DIY air purifier

I got 2 box fans 38 x 38cm and want to put a similar filter as seen in the youtube video. Ebay and google searches are not turning up anything large enough so considering gluing two filters together, say maybe pollen filters? I replaced mine in the Passat other day and cleaned up the old one so was gonna give it a try when dry. 2 Together won't cover the area entirely.
Anyone know of a filter large enough or familiar with a range of car pollen filters that would cover the area? (or two together).
