My 286K Passat B5.5 passed today's M.O.T!

Yes, the old girl passed first time today costing me just £39 for another years motoring!
Decided to spoil her by giving her an early oil and filter change.
My mechanic is replacing his own 1997 Passat tdi saloon.
He's now looking for a decent 2004 B5.5 and has told me to look for a slightly newer B5.5 diesel estate for my eventual replacement of my own motor.
He's told me to steer clear of B6 models with DPF fitted as I only do around 4k miles a year now.
I do like the look of the B6 - but not they way some of them seem to rust etc etc!
