Cigarette lighters

I need to change my Cigarette lighters to permanently on as I do a lot of work in my car and need to change my laptop without having the engine on all the time. I know that I run the risk of running the battery down but i will have to take the chance.

is there anywhere I can pick up the wiring by the dash that links all 3 sockets together ?
if yes do we know what colour the wires will be?
and what colours are the permanently live wires and what would be the best place to pick them up ?
