Got a B5.5 Passat Estate with the normal VW aerial. Every now and then I think about changing it for a sharks fin-type one but have never got around to it. I know people have used the S2000 one but the other day I noticed the A4 Avant has this type as standard. Does anyone know if it would be a straight swap with the Passat one by any chance? That is, are the fittings the same on the roof and does it have an amplifier in the base?
