Best location for Amplifier?????

I will install my Alpine MRX-F65 Amp soon

I have a B5.5 (2001) Estate but not sure of the best location so that I can still maximise the space & use of the boot. The amp dimensions are: 270 x 58 x 230 mm

Would it be possible to somehow install the amp in the side storage places where the jack or first aid kit is stored or is this a bad idea with the heat from the amp?

My other thought would be the back of the rear seats but this can be a problem when I drop the rear seats for extra storage in the back ie going to the tip. Don't want to damage the amp.

Any suggestions would be great
